Questions

Common questions

All questions and troubleshooting →
Is GloopLink a VPN?

It is a connection client. You add nodes you already have — WireGuard as a VPN tunnel, or proxy nodes such as Shadowsocks and Trojan — and GloopLink manages the connection and its status. It does not sell or supply nodes.

Is my node configuration uploaded anywhere?

No. The standalone app keeps configuration on the device. There is no account and no background sync. A separate service edition, planned for later, would handle accounts and node discovery on its own terms.

Which protocols can it connect?

Current support: WireGuard, Shadowsocks, Trojan, VMess, and VLESS. Trojan, VMess, and VLESS support TLS links over WebSocket, HTTP/2, or gRPC. If a node link uses something the runtime cannot carry, the import is rejected rather than saved and left to fail.
