How GloopLink handles your data
Last updated:
Scope
This policy describes the GloopLink website and standalone client. Third-party nodes and external websites have their own policies.
Local configuration and permissions
Imported server addresses, credentials, keys and transport settings are saved on your device to support connections. The standalone client does not sync your node library to a GloopLink account. Connection credentials are used by the selected protocol to communicate with your chosen node. System VPN permission is needed to establish the tunnel.
Diagnostics
The standalone client has no account registration, analytics or automatic off-device crash reporting. Connection status and diagnostics are handled locally. Before voluntarily sharing diagnostics or screenshots for support, check and remove personal information and secrets.
Website storage and requests
The website uses no analytics scripts or cookies and serves fonts locally. It stores your light/dark preference in browser local storage (gp-theme); clearing site data removes it. To serve pages, hosting infrastructure receives request information such as IP address and browser headers and may keep operational or security logs under its configuration. This is distinct from the client’s local node data.
Third parties and support
Your chosen node and network providers process connection traffic under their own policies. External links and downloads are subject to the destination’s policy. Information you voluntarily submit for support is received through the channel you choose and used to handle your request; do not post credentials or private configurations in public issues.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Saved nodes remain locally until you remove them or clear application data. Backups or exported copies must be deleted separately. You can revoke VPN permissions in system settings and clear browser storage. For information you submitted for support, use the original channel to request access, correction or deletion; third-party retention rules may also apply.
Changes and questions
Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised date. Use the support page below for privacy questions. Do not send keys, passwords or complete node configurations.
